“You okay?”

She shook her head. “I need some water.”

She stood and went around the bed, heading for the door. He followed her, trying to keep some distance while he made sure she was okay. She found a glass in the kitchen cabinet and poured some water into it. She gulped it down in one drink and filled it again.

“What happened?”

She set the glass down and wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. “I dreamed I was in the house fire and couldn’t wake up.”

He moved towards her and rubbed his hand along her back. “Do you want something to help you sleep?”

She closed her eyes and dropped her head. “No.”

“Come on.” He pulled her towards him. “I’m not going to let anything happen to you tonight.”

She glanced up at him. “I’m scared, Mason. I don’t do scared very well, and I’m really freaking out.”

He brushed his knuckles along her cheek. “What do you want me to do for you?”

“I don’t know.”

He pulled her hair back from her face. Sweat dotted her chest and the fear in her eyes nearly destroyed him. She gripped the top of his pants and undid the button of his jeans.

“I don’t know what I need, but I
need
something.” She glanced down as her fingers lowered his zipper. “I don’t know if it’s you, but I want you.”

He leaned in to kiss her. Yeah, he wanted her too. He’d never needed sex, but tasting Addison just one time made him crave her more. He wanted to be inside her. He wanted to feel her wrapped around him, hugging him with her hot wetness.

Her hand pressed along his bare stomach and Mason reached for it. He pushed her hand inside his pants and wrapped her fingers around his cock. Her cool skin against his hot flesh shot dizziness through him. He wanted to take her hard and fast, but in the back of his mind, he knew she deserved something different from him. He tore his mouth from hers and met her eyes.

“You can have whatever you want, but no bitching about it in the morning.”

She tugged his jeans off his hips. “No bitching. Not tonight. I really just want to forget about everything for a little while.”

He grabbed her hand and reached for his pants, leading her away from the kitchen and back to his room. He couldn’t take the chance of any prospects coming in on them right in the middle of fucking. Addison had had enough shit for one night, adding embarrassment on top of it seemed unnecessary.

She tugged her clothes off and crawled in before him, watching as he pulled his underwear off. He moved towards her, sliding over her until he pushed her legs apart, settling between them.

He knelt and inhaled her scent. Her wet pussy enticed him, invited him. He gave her one long, leisurely lick. The taste was intoxicating. She went straight to his head faster than any alcohol he’d ever drank. He circled her clit with the tip of his tongue before sucking it between his lips. The little moans coming from her urged him on. He inserted two fingers inside, loving the way she squeezed him. He sucked her clit, flicking it lightly while he pumped his two digits into her.

One hand gripped his hair, tugging slightly. He pulled away, kissing her inner thighs as he withdrew his fingers completely.

“No!” she all but screamed. “No. Go back.”

Turning down the temptation almost killed him. He shifted, moving so that he could get a condom from the nightstand drawer. Addison raked her nails along his stomach while he undid the condom and rolled it on.

He moved over her again, propping himself up so she didn’t take most of his weight. He guided his cock to her entrance and pushed in slightly. Her pussy was a furnace, hot and welcoming. He gladly took the invitation. He pushed inside in one swift stroke, making her cry out. His mouth covered hers as he withdrew only to slam home again. She damn near blew the top off his head.

“Harder.”

Fire lit in him. He shoved inside her harder, deeper, filling her to the brim over and over again. He shifted his body slightly and brushed her clit with his thumb before he leant down to scrape her nipple with his teeth. The little sound of pleasure she uttered pushed him further into his stupor. He could do this for days, fucking her like a wild man until both of them were replete.

He switched to her other nipple, doing the same thing, drawing the sweet little sounds he loved from her. Mason was a breast man. He’d seen breasts of all calibres, but Addison had the best. Not too big for her body size, yet big enough to fill his hands. And they were real. He’d take real tits over fake any day. Her little nipples beaded before him as he tasted them.

If she wanted a hard fuck, then he’d give it to her. There was nothing wrong with that. He changed his position and pushed her legs up so that they rested on his shoulders. He thrust hard into her, driving his cock as deep as she could take him. He’d known, dreaming all those times in his jail cell, that she’d be a good fuck. The little sounds she made had him damn near blowing his load.

He leaned up and peered down at her. “Touch yourself.”

She hesitated before sliding her hand down her stomach. Mason sat back, pumping his hips hard against her as he watched. She brought her finger to her lips and ran her tongue along the digit before fondling her clit. He focused on her fingers, the sight alone tightening his balls. She closed her eyes as her lips parted. He withdrew only to shove back in, this time in rhythm with her fingers. God, he’d never experienced anything hotter.

He leant forward and flicked his tongue over her nipple, drawing it between his lips. She tasted so good. He couldn’t keep his mouth off her. Addison’s fingers sped up and he knew she was getting there. Her breaths came closer together and he thrust harder. She lifted her hips and fucked him while her pussy clamped down, squeezing his dick in a tight vice.

He was helpless. A man drowning between the thighs of a woman. His mind swam as his world shifted. He loved every minute of it too. She cried out, his own pleasure washing over him. How he’d got a woman so damn wonderful, he didn’t know.

Mason withdrew and stared at her body. His beard stubble had left red marks all over her. Her nipples were a deep red from him sucking them. Her pussy gleamed with her juices. She looked well-fucked.

He pulled the condom off and moved away to toss it in the trash. “Did it work? Or do we need to try again?”

She smiled. “I think it worked.”

He moved in beside her and pulled the blankets over them. “Go to sleep, babe. You’re safe here and I’m not going anywhere.”

She reached for his hand and linked their fingers. “Thanks.”

He kissed her one last time before turning the light off and relaxing in the comfort of his own bed.

Chapter Five

Mason didn’t let her out of his sight the next day. Addison went with him to her office, and while she worked on cleaning the place up, Mason and the three prospects worked on installing the new windows at the front of her building. She vacuumed up the shattered glass and sorted through what she needed to keep and what she could throw away.

“Addy, you okay?” He stopped in the doorway, peering inside as she sat at her desk.

“Yeah. Why?”

“You’re quiet. I didn’t know if something was wrong or not.”

She shook her head. “I’m just sorting through stuff.”

He moved towards her. “You want to take a break? Maybe get some lunch?”

She nodded. That sounded nice. Her stomach growled to let her know she’d missed breakfast that morning. The Starbucks coffee Mason had sent one of the prospects for had done little to fill her up. She still lacked the energy she wished she had, but she didn’t fill nearly as bad as she had the night before.

She liked to think Mason was the reason for that. He did his best to keep her mind off her house and the whole predicament they were in. It took so much energy to keep from breaking down about her entire life going up in flames, just like her house, so she tried to focus on work.

“You got that look on your face again.”

She shrugged. “I don’t want to think about it.”

He leaned over her desk, his fists pressing into the hardwood top. “You want to stop by and see it? Maybe get some stuff if it’s salvageable?”

“No.” She didn’t want to see her house.

“I went by before I came here. The accelerant used was the gasoline they spread all over your carpet.”

Addison sucked in a breath. “So they were in my house while I was sleeping.”

He walked around the desk and pulled her chair out. “Don’t be afraid. That’s not going to happen again.”

She shook her head. “Mason, I’m so sick of you telling me that. I
am
scared and it may happen again. You don’t know that it won’t.”

He huffed a breath and shifted her chair closer to him, framing her with his arms. “I’m not going to let you get hurt again. Ever. I
do
know that.”

She swallowed, understanding the seriousness behind his expression. “Just stop saying it. I’m terrified and that’s not going to change until the Skulls are dealt with.”

He lifted her from the chair and kissed her. “Let’s go get some food.”

“Can we get some fast-food and bring it back here?”

He brushed her hair from her face. “We can do whatever you want.”

She smiled. “Don’t make promises you can’t keep. I really want to go shopping and I seriously doubt you’re up for that.”

He led her around the desk and out of her office. “You need to stay far away from the mall, and far away from my credit cards.”

She smiled. “Where’s the fun in that?”

They spent the rest of the day at the office before Mason took her back to the clubhouse that night. He hadn’t so much as stepped foot on the pavement before women flocked towards him. He smiled, looking like a rock star with all his groupies. Addison took a deep breath. He walked into the club with a girl on each arm and Addison following behind. She’d spent so much time trying to clean up the mess known as her life that she just wanted to go home and take a bubble bath. Mason happened to be the opposite. He wanted to unwind with his friends and party.

Lila spotted her from the bar and Addison wandered to where the other woman stood drying a glass. “Do you want a drink?”

She shook her head. Addison took her spot on the barstool while the commotion went on behind her. This was not her scene, and for the first time, Mason really made her feel it.

“I can’t tell if you’re pissed or upset.” Lila peered down so that her gaze met Addison’s. “What’s wrong?”

Addison rolled her eyes. There was no sense in bending things out of proportion. She turned and watched Mason laughing with a blonde chick. She said something to him then pulled her shirt up, baring her breasts.

Addison turned back to Lila. “I think I do need a drink after all.”

She pulled out a shot glass and grabbed a bottle of tequila. “I’m pretty sure if you walked over there and told her to fuck off that that kind of stuff would stop.”

Addison tipped the drink to her lips. “Let him have his fun.”

The other woman frowned. “What happened?”

“I’m not sucking cock for status.” She stood from the bar. “If he wants that trash, let him have all the trash he wants.”

Lila gripped the bar. “You’re giving up that easy?”

“I’m not sure he’s worth fighting for.” She grabbed her purse. “If anyone asks, I’m taking his truck and the prospects home.”

She headed outside unnoticed and found the prospects. After she arranged for them to follow her home, she strode to Mason’s truck and climbed in the driver’s seat. She’d spent the freaking day working and the last thing she wanted to do was party the rest of the night away.

The streets were unusually busy and she hated waiting in traffic. She breathed a sigh of relief when she finally made her way towards Apollo Beach and away from the city.

She pushed the garage door button and waited for the door to rise. Three prospects came home with her and she let them sit inside the living room, keeping guard while she found something for dinner. Her cell phone rang and she saw the club number on the readout. She pressed ignore and returned to cooking.

“Okay.” She turned towards the prospects once the food was in the oven. “Please explain passing around the pussy at the club. I don’t get it.”

Tony chuckled as he took a seat at the kitchen bar. “You don’t get it because you’re a girl.”

She propped her hand on her hip. “You’re seriously okay with that?”

“What? You being a girl?”

“Passing pussy around.”

Dave smiled. “What’s wrong with it?”

She leaned against the cabinet. “Knowing your friend is fucking the same person that fucked you is a little awkward.”

Joe laughed. “Do you expect everyone you sleep with to be a virgin?”

She rolled her eyes again. “No but I don’t date my friends’ lovers.”

Tony ran a hand through his hair. “Is this about Mason?”

She moved to the fridge and pulled out three beers and a soda. “It’s not about anything. I just don’t understand some aspects of the MC life.”

She handed each man a beer and popped the top of her soda. She didn’t care what Mason did or with whom he did it. She didn’t like that after the entire day of being with her, though, he simply ignored her like she didn’t exist. He simply went on to the next girl who showed him her tits and giggled in his ear.

“You’re not supposed to understand some aspects of club life.” Tony opened the beer can and sipped. “You either analyse it to the point nothing makes sense, or you embrace it and take each event as it comes.”

Addison took a drink of her soda. “I guess I’m analysing it.”

“Don’t. Mason really likes you. The club doesn’t need to come between you two, because I’ll tell you right now, he’ll choose the club over a girl any day. Don’t force him to make that decision.”

When dinner was done, she spooned out the chicken meal and they ate together with light conversation about motorcycles. She’d had no idea how much these guys loved their bikes, but they informed her quickly that they were almost as important as family.

“Well, boys, I hate to leave good company, but I’m going to bed. I don’t know when Mason will be home, so you can make yourselves comfortable in the living room. He has a million channels. I’m sure you can find something to watch.”
