“No, I’m sorry I haven’t spoken to him today,” I answer honestly. She just nod
s before looking back down at her coffee mug as she takes a deep breath. “Sophie, it’s none of my business but I wouldn’t worry too much about Chase, he really likes you.” She doesn’t manage to say much after that, other than just thanking me and giving me a small, forced smile. “I’m going to go shower and give you some privacy,” and then I turned to Analise and add, “Let me know if you need anything, Baby.”

I walk
back inside towards Analise’s bathroom and get into the shower. After a few minutes, I hear the shower curtain pull back and watch her step in, wrapping both arms around my waist. I turn to face her and lean down and kiss her. “Is everything okay?” I ask.

“Thank you,” she sa
ys with a nod.

“For what?”

“I know we’re a lot to take in, thank you for not running off scared,” she laughs lightly but I can see the seriousness in her eyes as she lathers shampoo into her hair.

She‘
s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my life. My thoughts return to my feelings for this woman. I don’t know what it is about her, but I know I’m in deep with this one. It has barely been a month since we met, but already I know waking up entwined in her every morning will be the best decision I’ll ever make in my life.

“Sorry to tell you this,
Love, but you can’t scare me off that easily,” I laugh as I lean in to let her lather my hair while giving her another kiss.

“Good,” she says while
handing me the body wash. “I don’t think I’m quite done with you yet,” she winks and I laugh at the goofy expression now crossing her face as I rub my hands together to wash her wet skin.

“Do you need to hang out here with Sophie today? I can give you some privacy if you need it,” I offer
. I know she’s off today and that we’d planned on spending the day together again but I don’t want to be in the way.

“Well, I’ll probably stay here for a couple hours but we can have lunch today and then hang out this afternoon if you want to
?” she asks, rinsing off before shutting off the water.

“Always
, Baby,” I say wrapping her towel around her shoulders, tousling her wet hair with another and kissing her on the tip of her nose. She pulls herself up closer to me and I wrap my arms around her tiny frame.

“Drake?” she sa
ys quietly.

“Hmm?” I murmur into her hair.

“I love you,” she finally whispers nervously into my chest after a second. I gently raise her chin and force her to meet my gaze.

“I love you, too,” I whisper
and for the first time, I mean it with every fiber of my being.

Analise

I ca
n’t believe I’ve just told Drake that I love him and of all places, in my bathroom. I meant it, but it wasn’t something I’d planned on telling him even though I’ve known my feelings for awhile. I’ve fallen for him so quickly and although I know it’s fast, I can’t deny how I feel about him.

There’
s something about him that makes me throw all caution to the wind. I feel safe with him and from the first time we met, I’ve had this feeling that it was more than just a chance encounter.

Drake Mitchell
is meant to be a part of my life and there’s no arguing with fate.

As soon as his lips m
eet with mine, I’m reminded of that fateful day that we met and the electricity we’d both admitted to feeling.

I briefly thought
that maybe the electricity would die out eventually, but for now it only seems to intensify whenever we’re together.

The
intensity as he kisses me roughly now is almost too much to handle. He grasps me by the hips, pushing me back against the sink and when my ass hits the ledge, he tears the towel from my body and lifts me up onto it, never breaking our kiss.

His hand
rises up into my hair and he gently tugs on it, exposing my neck. His lips travel down until he finds the spot that drives me insane beneath my ear and he licks me there almost greedily.

I’m
already panting so hard, I would be embarrassed if I wasn’t so turned on right now. A whimper escapes my lips and I hear the deep growl in his chest as he moves his body between my legs while tugging harder on my hair.

That’s right, Baby,” he whispers as he grabs my left breast and starts massaging me. The combined effects are mind blowing and my sex is already throbbing in anticipation. My hands grip his strong arms, my nails digging in so deep I think I’ll break the skin but I can’t bring myself to care in that moment. It only seems to spur him on.

His lips beg
in moving further down and he brings my other breast into his mouth, gently sucking as his other hand moves lower, finding my slick opening. At the same moment that he slides his fingers inside me, he bites down onto my nipple and begins massaging my clit with his thumb until I’m only seconds away from spiraling out of control.

“Please Drake
,” I beg and he immediately moves his thumb away from me.

“Not yet
, Baby,” he says as he moves his head between my legs, replacing him thumb with his mouth.

I’m grasp
ing onto the sink so hard, I think it may shatter beneath me. My breathing is so out of control that I can barely hear the growl coming from deep within his chest. When I do, it’s nearly my undoing.

I wo
n’t last much longer and he seems to take pleasure in knowing this. He continues working me with his tongue and fingers until my coherency is lost. When I look down, his eyes are locked on mine. He stares into me and it’s such an intimate gesture, I have to fight to not look away.

Keeping our eyes locked, he pull
s away just long enough to say, “Let me taste you, Analise. Come for me.” This muffled command is all it takes for him to have me screaming his name for the second time this morning.

Drake ke
eps his mouth on me until I’ve almost completely recovered. When he rises, he pulls me off of the sink and turns me around so swiftly, his grasp is the only thing keeping me upright.

“Keep hold of the sink,
Baby. Don’t let go.”

I ca
n’t speak yet, so instead I nod dumbly and grip the sink tightly as he pulls my hips back further, pushing my feet further apart with his own. Our eyes meet in the mirror above the sink and holding my gaze, he plunges all the way into me causing us both to gasp, my hands to slip. “Don’t let go, Analise.”

“I won’t,” I say
breathlessly as he drives into me mercilessly, never breaking our eye contact in the mirror.

I’m
getting close again already and I know he can feel it when he looks at me and says, “Wait for me, Love.”

I fe
el his pace quicken and I know he won’t make me wait much longer. He’s pounding into me so hard and his erection is so enormous, I think he might even split me in half. He releases my right hip and reaches around my front, starts massaging my clit again, bringing me back to the brink.

We’re both so close. As soon as he commands me a second time I’m
gone.

“Come with me
, Baby,” he says raggedly and we fall apart around each other. I don’t know what Drake is doing to me, but I hope he never stops.

Chase

It’
s about noon when Drake knocks on my door.

My thoughts have been
a scattered mess ever since I left Sophie’s apartment this morning and I still didn’t know what I should do.

I want her so badly, probably too
badly, but I don’t know how I can be with someone who has admitted to being in love with another man. I don’t think I can handle it but the thought of not seeing Sophie anymore seems just as impossible to me.

I’ve never been more confused in my life.

“Hey, man. How’s it going?” I halfheartedly greet Drake.

“I
’m great. How are you?” he asks.

“Not great. What’s with you?”

“I’m just having a great morning. What’s going on?” he asks me.

“What do you mean?”

“What’s going on with you and Sophie? She’s really upset, man. I think you should call her.”

“Well, that’s easy to say when you have no idea what the fuck is going on, huh?” I snap.

“Hey don’t be a dick,” he starts as he puts his hands up in front of him. “I’m just telling you what I saw. It’s none of my business but whatever happened, she’s upset and wants to talk to you.” I sit down and put my head in my hands. “You good?”

Yeah… no,” I start. “I don’t fucking know. I fell asleep with her last night and I was lying there with her this morning and everything was great, but then she started whispering something. I thought she was waking up and so I said ‘what is it, Sophie?’ you know? And then she says, ‘I love you, Jack.’ So then I’m thinking ‘what the fuck? Is she with someone else?’ So she woke up and I asked her about it because I’m losing my fucking mind at that point. She said she isn’t seeing anyone else. So I asked her about this guy Jack and she just shut the fuck down. I told her she needed to tell me the truth and she said they dated back in Camden and that they weren’t together anymore but she’s still in love with him.”

There
is something weird about his expression, like he wants to say something but thinks better of it. “Drake, do you know anything about this? Did Ana tell you anything?” I ask him because I know he won’t lie to me.

“Fuck,” he mumbles,
releasing a deep breath as his stare hits the ceiling before meets my eyes, shaking his head. “Why did you have to ask me that?”

“Because I know you won’t lie to me so tell me w
hat you know, Drake.” I see the struggle with something, but I don’t give a shit. He’ll tell me what he knows.

“I can’t. I promised Analise I wouldn’t say anything.”

“Fuck that shit! We’re family. You tell me, Drake. What the fuck is it?” I’m instantly pissed. I don’t care if he’s in love with Ana or not. He needs to tell me. Still fighting the struggle in his mind, eventually he looks at me.

You’re such a pain in my ass, Chase!” He says while shaking his head. “I don’t even know anything anyway. Just that she woke up the other morning really upset and she was screaming the same name out in her sleep. Analise went to check on her and when she came back, she asked me not to say anything because Sophie wanted to talk to you about it and it wasn’t my place,” he pauses and looks at me again. “Which it’s
not my place
, Chase, so fuck you for making me break my promise! Shit! You’re a real dick pulling the family card, you know that?” he’s shaking his head. I don’t really care so I just shrug. “Anyway, so this morning, she was upset and asked me if I’d heard from you and I said no. She looked really upset and before I left she told me to ask you to please answer your phone.”

“Yeah, she’s been calling and texting me for awhile. I just need to wrap my head around some shit before I
can talk to her, you know?” I admit.

“No, not really,” he answer
s irritably. I just look at him. “I mean, do you have feelings for her?” I nod my reply. “Do you want to be with her?” I nod again. “Then fuck everything else! Fuck that guy! She’s not with him anymore. You can’t have any of it if you don’t answer your phone and I may not know much, but I know women and she won’t wait for you to get your shit together for long. You need to talk to her or you’re just going to piss her off and ruin shit with her.”

I kno
w he’s right so I release an exhausted breath and nod again. Like she sees it herself, seconds later, my phone announces another text message from Sophie.

Please answer me, Chase. Just give me a chance to explain
.

You told me how you felt this morning.

I type back and seconds later, I get a response I probably don’t really deserve.

How I felt about Jack, not how I feel about you. Please give me a chance to explain
.

I hit reply.

If you feel that way about him, do your feelings for me even matter?

Within seconds, I get another message.

They matter to me. Can we please not have this conversation over text messages?

I think about it for a second. If there’s any way for us to work through this, we’ll have to talk about it. I don’t know much but I know I don’t want to lose my chance with her if I still have one. She’s trying to be honest with me and I’m being an ass. The least I can do is hear her out.

Be there in twenty.

Barely five seconds pass before I get a text back from her.
