“What is
wrong, Adrianna, tell me now, before I break this door down,” Samson yelled.

The crying
got louder. Adrianna started
feeling out of control. She needed
to get out of there before she used her magic on them. She couldn’t stand the way she was
feeling. She needed to run until
the out of control feeling left her. “Please leave now. I can’t
take this, please leave.” Adrianna
sobbed.

“Hey, calm
down, baby. It’s okay, we’re not
mad. We stopped. We understand that it’s going to take
time,” Cade whispered trying to calm his mate down.

Adrianna
felt the explosion happening inside her, she couldn’t control the feelings of
shame. It felt like before when Eli
had attacked her. Before she could
stop herself, she opened the door, in mid stride shifting into her sister wolf
and ran, breaking through the glass on the door, leaping out, running at high
speed.

Cade and
Samson both looked at each other and said “Shit”, as each was feeling the
emotions that came from Adrianna. The shame, guilt, and humiliation drifted toward Cade and Samson,
hitting them in the face, crushing them. Cade yelled at Samson, “Call Mace.” While Samson was pulling out his phone to call Mace, Cade shifted and
ran trying to catch his mate. She
was fast. Samson called Mace, told
him Adrianna had lost it, and ran from them, breaking the door, running toward
the woods behind the Resort.

Mace felt
the anger toward his best friend and Samson. He knew it was bad for Adrianna to bust
through the door running from her mates. She was too strong to run from them. Something was wrong, something happened for
Adrianna to react like that. As
Mace was running for the door, he yelled at Damen telling him that something
was wrong with Adrianna. Both
shifted into their wolves looking for Adrianna. It was starting to get dark outside as
the sun was going down fast.

Cade
sniffed the air looking for any sign that Adrianna had come this way. He could feel the shame and guilt she
felt. Cade knew he needed to find
her; he had to make it better for her. He felt ashamed that he just got up from her when she said to stop. He knew he was disappointed when she
told him to stop. He wanted
her. The mating pull was making him
lose control. They shouldn’t have
pushed her. Now they had screwed it
up. He knew he had to find her
before something happened to her. Cade stopped, lifting his nose into the air sniffing for her
overwhelming scent. Nothing, he
didn’t even smell anything remotely like her. As he turned he felt Samson running
toward him.

“Did you
find her?” Samson asked Cade.

“No,
nothing, no scent at all. I know
she came this way.”

Before
Cade and Samson could look into another direction, Mace and Damen hit both of
Adrianna’s mates, flipping them into each other. Samson and Cade jumped back up into
attack positions. As soon as Cade
realized it was Mace and Damen, Cade shifted back into his human form.

Holding up
his hands toward Mace, he began to talk calmly to his best friend, “Calm down
Mace, we didn’t hurt her or do anything to Adrianna. She is our mate and we wouldn’t do
that. You know that, Mace, so shift
so we can talk about this and find her.”

Mace
growled and snapped at both Cade and Samson. Mace was so angry about everything that
had happened the past few days that his wolf took over, making him lose
control. Damen shifted and bent down
in front of his Alpha. Damen knew
that Mace had lost control and knew he would only listen to pack.

“Mace,
it’s me Damen, look at me, Mace.” Mace started pacing back and forth, growling at Cade and Samson. “Mace, calm down, they didn’t hurt Adrianna. They are her mates, they care for
her. You know Cade wouldn’t hurt
her. He is your best friend.”

Mace
stopped pacing and the air shimmered as Mace shifted back into his human
form. Mace stood up looking at Cade
and Samson with anger in his eyes. “If you hurt her, then I won’t stop the next time. I will fuckin’ kill you both.”

“What
happened?” Damen asked.

“It’s
between Adrianna and me…us,” Samson stated firmly.

“If you
didn’t do anything wrong, then why did she run from you two? Adrianna is too strong, she wouldn’t
have done that. Something bad had
to happen for her to run through the door,” Mace growled his question to
Cade and Samson.

“Everybody
stop it,” Damen spit out. “We
need to find Adrianna and standing here arguing about this isn’t going to
locate her any faster. Let’s split
up. Cade, you take the north end
and Samson, you take the east end. Mace and I will take the south and west side of the property.”

Adrianna
stopped running, finally exhausted. The lump of emotion she’d been feeling for the past few days had finally
submerged from her. She couldn’t
cry anymore. Adrianna had used her
magic to mask her scent so her mates couldn’t follow her. She doubled back entering her bedroom,
exhausted from the stress and pain she was feeling. Adrianna couldn’t hold her head up. She shifted back into her human form,
crawling up onto the bed, curling up into a ball, rolling into the fetal position. Adrianna welcomed the darkness as she
plunged into sleep.

Damen knew
how smart Adrianna was so he doubled back after checking his area, going back
to Adrianna’s bedroom. Damen looked
in the door that had shattered, millions of pieces of glass lying all over the
floor. As he looked in the door,
Damen observed the small ball Adrianna had curled herself into lying in the
middle of the bed. Damen called to
the others telling them she was safe and back in her bedroom.

Cade and
Samson couldn’t get there quick enough to check on their mate. As they entered her bedroom, the smell
of shame and guilt almost knocked them down. It was suffocating the air in her
room. Mace quickly ran to her side,
whispering for her to wake up. Adrianna was so exhausted and weak she couldn’t respond. She was totally exhausted and fell
deeper into the darkness.

Mace
looked at Cade with tears in his eyes. “What happened to her, Cade?”

Cade
looked down at his mate with his heart aching. He didn’t know how to fix this. He looked up at Mace with uncertainty in
his eyes. He still didn’t know what
he had done to Adrianna. All he
knew was he had to make it better.

Cade
looked up. “Mace, we were bonding
with our mate. We didn’t hurt her
or force her into anything. We
thought she wanted us, we know now that she isn’t ready for this. We’ll make this right, Mace. I promise. You have to give us a chance to fix
this. Can you trust me enough to do
that? I wouldn’t hurt my
mate.”

Mace
looked down at Adrianna knowing that Cade wouldn’t hurt her. He needed to trust Cade and Samson like
Selena suggested. Selena told Mace
the fates wouldn’t give inappropriate mates to Adrianna. She was special and would need their
strength.

Mace
looked up at Damen, “Let’s leave them with their mate.”

Damen got
up and walked to the door with Mace, neither turned back around. They had to trust that Cade and Samson
would take care of her.

Slowly
Cade and Samson lay down on the bed with Adrianna, surrounding her with their
warmth. As Adrianna slept, Cade and
Samson talked about how they were going to give her time. They wanted Adrianna; the mating pull
was consuming them to mate with her.

Cade
looked down at Adrianna and smiled. “She is wonderful, you know. We didn’t tell her it was okay when she asked us to stop. We should’ve held her and told her it
was her decision and we didn’t mind waiting. I think back about when she was
attacked. We didn’t even take into
consideration. We just wanted to
mate, not love her. Now, I
understand the shame and guilt she was feeling. She felt that was all we wanted.”

Samson’s
heart broke when Cade mentioned the attack that Adrianna had endured. “I know. Let’s just take this slow and tell her
how much she really means to us,” Samson replied.

Cade and
Samson snuggled closer to their mate, waiting for her to wake up. Samson lay beside his mate only knowing
bits and pieces of the story of his mate’s life. Women were precious to their clan, how
could anybody hurt a female was beyond his thinking. He wished that Eli Cord and his brothers
weren’t locked up so he could kill them for the pain they had caused his mate.

Adrianna
felt the warmth surrounding her. She knew that Samson was curved around her back and Cade was lying in
front of her. She knew their scents
and could feel their body heat.

Before she
could speak, Cade spoke in a whispered tone. “Adrianna, we are sorry, baby. I would rather cut off my arm than hurt
you. We shouldn’t have pushed you
and for that we are sorry.”

Samson
tugged Adrianna closer to him. She
could feel his erection pushing against her butt cheeks. He had his nose in her hair inhaling her
sent. Adrianna looked up at Cade
and saw the sincerity in his eyes. She knew they were telling the truth.

“I’m
scared,” Adrianna whispered.

“We know
baby, and we won’t make you do anything you’re not ready to do. This mating pull just makes us a little
hyped up on you. We will control
it. Please don’t lose faith in us,”
Samson murmured.

The mating
pull was playing havoc on Adrianna as well. She wanted to grab both of her mates and
make love to them. She knew she
acted like a fool by running away from her mates. She wanted them, but didn’t know how to
start.

Adrianna
reached up and touched Cade’s face, caressing his cheek. “I want you both now, but I don’t know
what to do. I feel so foolish at
how I acted earlier. I’m so
sorry,” Adrianna said softly. She looked up at Cade with widened eyes.

“We will
show you, Adrianna.” Samson pulled
Adrianna back until she was lying on her back. He looked down into her face, leaned
down, and placed the gentlest kiss she’d ever had on her mouth. He released her lips then went lower and
kissed her breast, pulling her nipple in his mouth, rolling it around then
scrapping it against his teeth. Adrianna writhed beneath him. She could smell the heat coming off Samson, penetrating her mind. The mating musk was consuming her. She wanted her mates badly and gasped as
Cade bent down and took her other breast in his mouth. Samson brushed his lips over her
neck. Her hands slid down their
chests and found their hardened members. She wanted them but didn’t have the voice to tell them not to stop their
excessive torment.

She
moaned, arching her breasts into the air, holding them out like a prize waiting
to be won. She reached down with
her fingers, sliding them up and down, remembering the characters in her
favorite novels on how to bring pleasure to her mates. Her mates hissed as Adrianna’s touch
engraved pure desire into them.

Samson
whispered in Adrianna’s ear, “Your smell is driving me crazy. I need to taste you.” He started kissing down her neck with
light kisses just enough to drive Adrianna into a bundle of excitement.

Cade begin
to pinch her nipples with one hand then ran one finger down into her pussy,
pushing it in and out, learning her body. The moisture was leaking down onto his fingers. He flicked his finger over her
clit. Adrianna’s orgasm slammed
into her so fast she didn’t feel Samson pick her up and place her on top of
Cade’s cock, sliding her down slowly. Before she could speak, she felt him move up into her body slowly. The feeling was incredible and
wanting. She pushed down as Cade
was pushing up into her.
