The kitchen’s empty. Where the hell is Jessie? He should be here by now.

I give him a ring and find out he’s got a flat. I tell him I’ve got it and to get here when he can.

I get the kitchen going, getting all the prep ready and the tuna started.

He’ll have to finish this,
I tell myself and laugh. As I head to the cooler, I get a text from Eoin.

* Hurry back to me, chef ;)*

I smile.
Okay, work, Lea!

The day runs smoothly, other than a customer not knowing their steak temperatures right. I love those people that try to get a free meal. I mentally add him to my list of not welcomes.

I get into my TDI and head home in the traffic from hell. When I walk in, I’m greeted with a fantastic aroma. I smell seafood gumbo!

As I round the corner, I see him stirring the pot. He must not have heard me come in. There’s music on and he’s in the zone.

Just when I thought I couldn’t possibly love anything else about him, I see him like this. He works his way around my kitchen as if it’s his own.

I watch him carefully taste the mixture and add some spices.

I decide I’ve seen enough and walk into the kitchen making deliberate noise, as if I haven’t been there the whole time.

“Hey.”

“Hi,” he answers with enthusiasm. “I know you must be tired and hungry after a long day, so I thought I’d make dinner.” All I can do is beam at him and his kind heart. I walk up to him and take a taste. He looks at me, as if waiting for my approval.

“Wow, this is fantastic! You know what you’re doing, don’t you?” Grinning, I let him know I’m going to take a quick shower. He flashes me a look that sends shivers down my spine.

“You’ve got to watch the gumbo, babe,” I say, turning quickly to make a hasty exit to the bathroom. He grabs my arm and swings me around into a passionate kiss.

“Hurry back, gorgeous,” he replies with a salacious smile and I nearly faint.

I get dressed quickly into some cozy yet cute night clothes, and head out to the dining room to grub down on his Cajun creation.

As I enter the room, I’m blown away. There are about a million roses strategically placed on every available surface, along with vases overflowing with them, too. There are petals scattered everywhere as well. I’m taken aback.

“You went all out, didn’t you?” I say, giving him a full smile as he walks into the room, practically swooning at him for his sweet gesture.

I sit down and he serves me a hearty helping, placing a chaste kiss on my cheek and telling me to enjoy.

My first bite’s incredible! The flavors meld together so perfectly. This has to be the best gumbo I’ve had in my life! The fact he made it makes it that much more pleasing.

“So, I’ve got to pick Crystal up at the airport in the morning. Do you want to come with me?” I ask.

“Can I do something fun if I come?” he replies.

“What would that be?” I ask, genuinely curious as to what the hell he has up his sleeve.

“I want to hold up a sign with her name on it,” he says with a cocky grin on his face. How can I say no to something so perfect?

Laughing, I reply, “That sounds awesome! She’ll flip out and so will the tabloids.” Are they smart enough to know he’ll be there that early?

We finish dinner and cozy up in bed, talking about everything and anything, really. He’s so easy to talk to. I’d always thought I would choke if I ever got the chance to talk to him but I can chat to him with such ease, it amazes me!

I ask for a back rub. He obliges and I fall into a deep sleep, thinking about this weekend. Crystal, Vicki and Derik are going to come with us to Estes and Aspen. I’m so looking forward to this!

We wake at the same time in the morning and I feel his erection on my thigh. I giggle, noticing that we have maybe five minutes.

I slip him inside of me and tell him to just fuck me crazy. Of course, he does and good gracious, it’s perfect! I’ll be smiling all day after that.

We get ready and I make us a quick breakfast of bacon and eggs. As we eat, he finally wanders over to the ceiling-to-floor windows he’s been eyeing off. I see his face slip into
wow
mode.

I walk over to him with a smile on my face and say, “Isn’t it a beautiful sight?”

“Why didn’t you tell me to open these yesterday?” he replies, amazement evident in his voice. “We’re going into that, right?”

“Yes, we are and you’ll be amazed, I promise.”

With that, we head to the airport. I notice him watching the mountains with awe and smile to myself.

We pull up and to my amazement, there are no paparazzi in sight. Thank God!

We get to Crystal’s gate and as the passengers start to filter out, they give Eoin a second look.
Fuck, here we go.

One fan obviously recognizes him from somewhere because she asks who he is and he replies, “Just a limo driver, ma’am.” I laugh at that.

I see Crystal! As she comes in view of Eoin, she stops instantly.

“Are you Miss D?” he asks and she can only nod. I burst out laughing hysterically. She scowls at me but
within seconds, she’s giggling, too. Oh, how I’ve missed her!

“Introductions aren’t needed but Eoin this is my best friend, Crystal. Crystal, Eoin.” I laugh as she puts her hand out and he pulls her into a hug. She looks at me with wide eyes and a huge grin.

We walk out and get into my car to head to Boulder.

ä

The car ride is fantastic! Eoin is making us both die of laughter. He asks Crystal how we met and whether he’s gotten himself in trouble with me.

“Oh, yes. She’s the one to keep an eye on, Eoin,” Crystal jokes.

“Thanks, dude. Way to make me look bad!” I reply and wink at her.

Eoin leans into my cheek and kisses me, whispering, “I like a challenge.” Oh, he makes me melt all over when he breathes like that into my ear!

We pull into Boulder and Eoin is amazed. He asks where we went to school, so I drive up to Fairview and Crystal and I start to go down memory lane. As we laugh our asses off about all the fun we had, I sneak a glance at Eoin. He’s all smiles.

I phone Vicki and Derik to meet us in Estes and find they are headed that way already. I spoke with Vicki when I left the restaurant, so she’s been waiting for this and you can bet your ass she had her weekend cleared.

“Okay, let’s go up into those beautiful mountains!” We’re all in agreement so I head up Highway 7 towards Allenspark and Estes. It’s so quiet the whole way up, as it should be. This ride is so unbelievably beautiful, it would take anyone’s breath away.

As we pass the gorgeous church that sits in front of the beautiful Longs Peak background, Eoin asks me to pull over for pictures. We take one of all of us and then one with just Eoin and Crystal.

Finally, pulling me close, he looks into my eyes and Crystal takes the picture as he kisses me.

“I want to put this on my Instapic account, if you’re okay with it?” he asks, with a cute
please
look on his face. I nod. This will make his fans go insane! Good thing the gorgeous background is there to somewhat distract them! It’s a really great picture.

I take his phone and text the photo to mine so I can have it printed off. I don’t ever want this memory to go away.

We get back in the car. It’s only about 10 minutes to Estes now. We stop at the overlook and I can’t help but take a huge intake of air at the site. We wind into town and I pull into Twin Owl’s Steakhouse. They have
the
best food in Estes.

I ask for the smoked salmon for Eoin - locally smoked salmon served with dill cream cheese, capers, pine nuts and toast points with a raspberry sauce.

“Here she is, ordering again for us,” Eoin says, winking at me.

“Sorry, but I know what you’ll love.” I give him the sly smile he deserves, the brat.

“You do it well, chef.” I look at Crystal and go to speak, but am interrupted by Vicki and Derik coming to the table.

I do the introductions, again, laughing at Vicki and the annoyed look Derik has, although he acts as though I can’t see it. Friends know this look.

We all sit down and begin table small talk. Eoin has got everyone in the palm of his hand, even Derik. We all order and it seems as though we all choose different items - I get the beef bourguignon, of course and the rest have an eclectic taste.

We talk about everything from politics to how the spotlight industry works, everyone laughing, smiling and enjoying each other’s company.  After dinner, we all have one too many beers so we decide staying at a hotel is best.

“What better place than the Stanley?” All eyes are on me, even Eoin’s.

“Come on guys, it’s a movie!” I plead.

“Let’s go, babe,” Eoin says with a devilish look.

We walk to the hotel and have a look around when we enter the lobby. I’ve been here before a few times so I head to the desk. The receptionist has her eyes on Eoin of course.
Ugh!

“Hello,” I say abruptly.

“Sorry, ma’am. How may I help you?” she asks, tearing her gaze away from Eoin. I’m annoyed at her disrespectful tone, so I call Eoin over and sweep him into a deep kiss.

“Can we get some rooms now?” I say and almost hate my tone.

“Sorry, yes, you can. Any particular floor?” she asks.

“Fourth, please.” I hand her my card to pay.

“Ready?” I ask. Snatching the key card, he pulls me to the elevators, not letting me tell my friends where I’m going. He hits the button for floor four and we ride up. He gives me the sexiest look. Fuck me, there’s a genre of looks for this man!

The elevator dings and as we walk out, he grabs my hand, never taking his eyes off of mine. Slipping the card into the slot, he leads me into our room.

He starts to undress.
Oh, my God, Eoin!
All I can do is sit there, breathing like a dog and bite my lip. Fuck this! I walk towards him, taking my clothes off as I move.

Looking into his eyes, I play with my nipple, giving it a twist. He’s so damn delicious standing there, it’s killing me.

I put one hand to his neck, pulling him towards me and kiss him so deeply that I almost lose basic function of my body. He picks me up, sets me down on the bed and kisses my whole body. Biting my neck… My ear lobe… Then, engaging me in a ridiculous lip biting war!

“I want to make you scream… and taste your whole body as you come for me.” Exhaling a big breath, he looks in my eyes.
Fuck!

I push his head into me and throw my head back, grinding my pelvis into his face, my hands wound in the strands of his hair.

“Mmmm, keep doing that, Eoin,” I moan in sheer ecstasy. I’m about to burst all over.

“You like that?” he asks. “I’m ready to explode in you.” Did he really just say that? I was ready to come for him a while ago!

I bend my head back and pull him onto me. He traces lustful nips along my neck and with one swift move, I have him under me. I kiss, nibble and lick his perfect body and then look up into his eyes as I take him in my mouth. I hear a faint grunt and start to move up and down.

Once I finish, I move up and straddle him. Slowly easing him inside of me, I bend down to kiss his soft lips as I slowly grind on him. This time is different. It feels sweeter and…
No!
I’m not even going to think that because it’s never going to happen. He notices the change in my mood.

“You okay?” he asks and I just nod, so he sits up and starts kissing my neck and chest. I look into his eyes and find my gaze locked there. I don’t even notice we’re moving in sync. I feel the familiar rush to my head and we climax at the same time, never losing each other’s gaze.

Neither of us moves until our breathing begins to calm. I ease off him and lay down, snuggling into his side. He kisses me softly and I close my eyes, lost in my thoughts.

“Hey, come back to me.” He pulls my chin down. “Where did you go?”

“I never left you.” I give a weak smile and get a sexy smirk in return.

“That wasn’t just sex, was it?” he says quietly. This is exactly the conversation I wanted to avoid, so I just shrug.

“Tell me you felt that, too.” He tilts his head, making it a question.

“Are you implying we were making love?”

“Yes.” The way he looks at me is killing me! I’m stumped as to what to say to that because yes, it
so
felt that way.

“It was sweet, sensual and slow,” I start carefully. “So, yes, I suppose it was. In my eyes, that just says we have a great connection. No need to start throwing the L word around.”

I really need to be careful with this.  He’s… Well, he
is
famous and I’m a chef from Colorado. If it were to ever come to
that,
it would be way down the line.
