CHAPTER TWO

I’d started jogging
, ever since I met Jacob. It wasn’t that I enjoyed it. And it wasn’t that he had ever asked. But he showed me in so many ways each day how much he loved me. This was my one small way of doing the same for him.

So it was, dressed in Lululemon sweats and with a towel draped around my neck, that I stepped out of the elevator of Jacob’s apartment and almost collided with Victoria going the other way. We stopped, each too shocked to speak, until a couple behind politely coughed, forcing us to step out of the way.

“Anna. I didn’t realize you would be here. Are you… living with him now?”

I crossed my arms. “Not that it’s any of your business, but no.”

She seemed pleased. “Good. How are you, anyway?”

Really?
She was asking how I was? How could she stand there, so calm and self-assured, when she had just ruined my life? Suddenly any goodwill I’d previously had toward this woman evaporated. “I won’t let you win, Victoria. I won’t let you do this to my
fiancé
.”

Her face stiffened. “So you’re still going to get married?”

“Yes.”

“Anna, you’re not right for each other.”

“Oh, and you think you two are?” I couldn’t help it, I was angry.

“That’s not what I mean.”

“Well what do you mean then?” Something inside me snapped – that something that was holding strong for Jacob, that yearned for the life we could have together. “Do you mean that if you can’t have him, no-one can? Or has the money run dry, so you’re getting the claws in for one last dig while you’re still able?”

I stalked toward her, furious. “Is that it? Need to finance your next movie?” I pushed her back. “Or is it a new Ferrari?” I pushed her again. “Is that it, bitch? Is he the only wallet you have left?” I shoved her so hard she stumbled.

“Anna, please. You don’t…”

“No, you listen to me,” I spat. “I thought we had something that night of your party. I’d never been with a woman before and you made me feel… welcomed. It was hot. We connected.

“But obviously, all of that means nothing to you. All you care about is money. Can’t you get it through your head? Jacob cares about you, but he doesn’t love you. We want to be together.”

Victoria opened her mouth, but I wasn’t going to take whatever lie she was about to sprout. She’d threatened me. Worse, she’d threatened my man. “Whatever you’re about to say, I don’t care. Nothing can excuse the person you’ve become – a petty, money grabbing whore who doesn’t deserve the precious gift she’s carrying inside. Leave. Us. Alone.”

I motioned security over. “Please escort this woman from the premises.” Then I stalked off.

“H
oney, what’s wrong?”

I was so mad that I wasn’t so much chopping carrots as I was murdering them. “Nothing,” I said through gritted teeth. I didn’t want to talk about it.

Jacob dropped his bag at the door and strode toward the kitchen. “Darling, I’m a guy, but even I know that’s not true. Is it something I’ve done?”

I turned toward him, still holding the knife, and he took a step back. I put it down gently, then folded into his arms and burst into tears.

“Shh.” He stroked my hair as I leant against his chest and cried it all out. “Whatever it is, we’ll handle it.”

I pulled away, wiping my eyes.“I saw Victoria today.”

His body stiffened. “How?”

“She was at the front door.”

“What did she say?”

I shook my head. “It doesn’t matter.” Plump tears began to slide down my cheeks once more. “How can she do this to us? After all we’ve been through! All I want to do is get married. And we can’t even do that!”

It was so frustrating. All my life I’d been the odd one out. A little too large, or awkward, or not pretty enough. Then finally I’d found someone who loved me for who I was, and suddenly I didn’t have to be any of those things. With Jacob, I was sexual, beautiful, sensual.
A woman.
Didn’t I deserve happiness? Victoria had everything else. Literally everything. Money, fame, even his child! Couldn’t I have this one, tiny, little thing?

I wiped my eyes again. “Look, don’t worry about it, OK? I’m sorry I let it get to me. It’s just, I can’t escape it, you know? Everywhere I look there’s a lawyer, or a newspaper. Some sort of reminder.”

Jacob stood there, looking at me with love in his eyes, for so long that I began to feel uncomfortable.

“What?” I asked. “You’re looking at me like you want to make love. I’m sorry, I’m just not in the mood.”

He shook his head with a chuckle. “I love you, but making love isn’t what you need right now.” Then he reached into his jacket and pulled out his phone, snapping it open. “James, this is Jacob. You know that thing we were planning earlier? I’m bringing it forward. How soon can the paperwork be ready?”

He listened intently. “Uh huh. Great. If you can halve that time, I’ll double your bonus.”

He paused, listening again. “Perfect. See you soon.”

I looked at him, puzzled, as he hung up the phone. “What was that about?”

“What you need is to get away from all this. Somewhere we can be together, just you and I.” He broke into a grin. “What you need, is a holiday. Pack your bags – we leave for Paris in an hour.”

CHAPTER THREE

“This is happening
. This is really happening.” I had never been outside the state, and now I was heading
to Paris.

Jacob laughed; a magical sound that I hadn’t heard in days. “If I’d known how happy this would make you, I would have done it earlier! Come to think of it, why haven’t you done it earlier?”

“Not everyone has the money for international travel, Mr. King.”

“You do now, Miss Watson. And for the look on your face, I think we’re going to have to make a habit of it.”

I glanced eagerly around the airport. “So who do we fly with? Are we economy or business?” A sudden though hit me, and I stopped dead in the middle of the airport. “I don’t have a passport. Will I be allowed to fly?”

He looked at me, amused. “To answer your last question first…” He produced a navy blue document the size of my hand. “Congratulations Miss Watson, you’re now allowed to leave the country.”

“What… how?” I was stunned. “How did you do this?”

“Remember that paperwork I got you to sign the other day? The one I said was for the sale of the company?”

I thought back. “Yes. As I seem to remember, I read the first 10 pages then got
distracted by somebody
from reading the rest.” I leaned toward him, running my hands down his arm. “A very pleasurable distraction, if I might say so.”

Jacob leaned in and kissed me, a look of smug pride on his face. “All part of my evil plan, Miss Watson. Hidden within those pages was the documentation I needed you to sign for your passport. As soon as you started getting close, I made it my utmost priority to ensure you signed the rest of the pages as quickly as possible.”

I slapped him playfully. “You’re so bad!” Then I leaned in. “I love it.”

He pinched me on the backside. “Which is why I did it. I was planning on surprising you later this week, but with everything that happened… well, I thought maybe we needed this sooner, not later.

“Thank you – it’s perfect.”

“We’re only just getting started!” He took me by the hand and pulled me through the terminal toward an unmarked door. A lone customs officer stood beside it.

“Don’t we have to check in?” I asked, confused.

“Nope.”

“Well what about security then?”

The customs officer took our passports, stamped them, and then waved us through. We entered a long white corridor that sloped gently downwards.

“Done.”

“Jacob, I don’t understand.”

He grinned. “You will, trust me.” We turned a corner in the corridor, opened a door, and then we were on the tarmac. Before us, the last light of day glinting off its fuselage, stood a large jet with the words
King Holdings
written across the tail.

Jacob turned toward me. “It’s flagrant abuse of company assets, but then, who’s going to fire me? Welcome aboard, Miss Watson, to our private jet to Paris.”

* * *

I
t was like I’d walked into another world. Oak paneling accented a smooth cream and white color scheme within the plane’s interior. Under our feet was soft luxurious carpet. Inset above our heads glowed golden, dimmed lights.

The front of the plane was taken up by a long, slim oak boardroom table; the width of a large kitchen bench and twice as long. Six airline chairs that looked like couches lined its length, an antique Turkish rug marked its shadow on the floor beneath. The back half of the plane featured several more padded chairs in groups of two and three. A bottle of champagne lay in a bucket of ice by the entry.

“Wow.” I might not have been on an international flight, but even I knew this was
not
economy.

A head popped out of the cockpit door. “Ready for takeoff when you are, Mr. King.”

“Thank you James. All good to go.”

The pilot closed the outer door, secured the champagne, and disappeared into the cockpit. I felt a low rumble as the engines fired up.

Jacob walked to a wall and pulled a phone from its cradle, holding it to his mouth like an air hostess with a twinkle in his eye. “Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to King Airways flight zero, zero, one to Paris, France. Please fasten your seatbelts for takeoff.”

I looked around, then sat in one of the huge, plush seats and buckled myself in.

“Flight time will be approximately dinner and drinks, plus sex.”

Ha!
I burst into a fit of giggles.

“The toilet is behind the whiteboard at the rear of the plane, drinks are in the middle, and if we’re going to crash… well, make sure you give me a kiss before I die, because I’d like to leave the world happy. Thank you for your attention, and enjoy your flight.”

Oh you.
My heart melted as Jacob strode toward me and planted a smooch on my lips. Buckling in beside me, he reached over to hold my hand.

“Ready for the first of many grand adventures, Miss Watson?”

“Always, Mr. King.” I gave his hand a squeeze. “But I’m curious.”

“About what?”

My hand left his, to trail over the seat rest and then down to his lap. “Why does the sex have to come
after
the meal?”

* * *

B
y the time the seatbelt sign turned off, Jacob was maddened with desire. I’d started by running my hand softly, gently, over the bulge in his crotch. It had hardened as my hands caressed it. His own hand had risen to my cheek in a gesture of love, but I had seized it with my mouth instead, sucking it with a swirl of my tongue around the tip that I
just knew
reminded him of something else entirely.

I’d slowly, sensually unzipped his pants as the plane began to move down the runway. We’d picked up speed swiftly and my hand followed suit, fishing inside to pull down his soft cotton boxers; freeing him as the plane’s wheels left the ground. He sprang to attention before me.

Suddenly he wasn’t the only one getting hot under the collar. His long, hard length was frustratingly close – so close I could touch it, but also, strapped in like I was, so far away. As the G-forces pulled us from the earth, we couldn’t leave the ground fast enough.

The light above us turned off and Jacob leapt from his seat, his mouth closing on mine to kiss me with a force that drove me into the cream leather behind. I reached desperately for his shirt, undoing the buttons one by one and then, as his hand began to move over my curves, giving up on the idea and simply ripping the rest apart. His shirt fell open to reveal bulky, hard pecs and the shadow of abs underneath. I fumbled madly for his belt while his hands undid the strap restraining me to the chair. He beat me to it, pulling me into a passionate kiss, his belt only half undone, before backing me toward the front of the plane.

I bumped into the board table and suddenly I was being forced against it, pushed up on it as rough yet loving hands spread my legs. The fury of the passion within him, the speed with which he had moved – my heart was beating so hard it might burst.

“Jacob. The staff. They might….”

He stopped me with hands that tore at my blouse, cutting me off mid-sentence. My jeans were next; I moved to push them down but he was faster, hooking them, and my panties, with his hands to pull them swiftly down my legs.

“Let them watch.”

We were on our way to Paris, and we were in our own private jet.
If there was ever a time to be naughty, it was right now.
I looked around, and my eyes alighted on the bottle of champagne nearby. “Fetch me that bottle of Cristal, will you?”

“Thirsty?” He reached for the bottle.

“No, but you’re about to be.” I popped the cork, then leaned back against the table, taking a deep drink of the delicately fizzing liquid. Then I held the bottle lower, against my midriff. “Drink up, baby.”

I tilted the bottle slightly, and sparkling golden liquid splashed onto my skin. Jacob darted forward, lapping champagne with his tongue before it could disappear. I moved the bottle lower, tilting it again, and the same thing happened. I held the bottle just above my most private of regions, and tilted it a final time. This time though, I let it trickle in a slow, steady stream onto my body. It tickled where it hit, the bubbles popping against my skin, then slid downwards, channeled by my body, creating the most erotic feeling wherever liquid fizzed against me.

Jacob’s head parted my legs and lapped at the liquid as it flowed over me. He started low, then moved slowly upwards, drinking.  I could feel his tongue rasping across my entry, sliding in the most delicious of motions. Then it moved to that most sensitive of points just above. The delicate effervescence of the liquid combined with the rough rasp of his tongue to produce the most intense of feelings. Shockwaves trembled through my body, and the bottle faltered.

Jacob took it from my hands, drinking deeply from it, then his mouth went between my legs once more. I gasped – his mouth was still full of champagne, and now it fizzed in full force against me, stirred to turbulence by his tongue. My shoulders hunched as I felt his tongue affect every corner of my body. “Oh god!”

He swallowed, the motion itself producing another all body shiver, then lifted the bottle to begin pouring slowly over me once more. He lapped faster at it now, drinking deep of me as I reclined on my elbows, watching him work, fighting the urge to throw my head back as he wound me tighter and tighter. I pushed myself up onto a trembling hand, the other going to his head. He put the bottle down as I forced him gently against me, begging without words to release the bow that he was so quickly drawing. He took up the challenge with enthusiasm, burying himself in me with a passion that induced a gasp from my mouth.

I started breathing heavier and heavier with each lick and suck and roll. “I’m so close!” I panted. My eyes squeezed shut – I couldn’t help it. I couldn’t hold on. He had drawn me so tight that I could feel myself unravelling, about to snap…

Suddenly the pressure lifted as he pulled away. My eyes snapped open. “What are you doing?” I gasped.

He winked, and then his face buried back into me and the wait was rewarded by a spasm that carried through my whole body, tipping me over the edge. I seized his hair with both hands, tilted my head back and cried out in amazement at the force of emotion zinging through my body. Bolts were firing off in every direction, a volley of arrows dipped in pleasure that ricocheted within me, never-ending.

I fell back against the table, gasping, and there was movement between my legs, felt faintly through the aftershocks.

He’d stood up. “You drive me wild Anna.”

I nodded, small tremors still clouding my mind.

Then I heard a belt clink. My head lifted to see him wearing only a ripped shirt. “I’m going to show you just how wild you make me.”

I gasped.
He entered me.
Lying on an oak table at forty thousand feet, for the first time I truly knew what it was like to be flying. My heart soared as his thick, hard length filled me and he began to slide in and out.

I sat up to wrap my arms around his neck, gripping his hips with my legs. The motion changed the pressure within me and we both groaned. I felt all of him: each smooth thrust inside my wet center, each slow leisurely pull back out. We kissed, our lips meeting with ardent fervor that belied the controlled motion below. His hands held my back, then slid up to run through my hair. They tugged at it, and I moaned into his mouth. He tugged again, then wrapped it around a fist and pulled back on it sharply. My head tilted, exposing my neck to him. I felt hot breath that created shivers through to my collarbone, and then sharp pressure as he began to suck at the crook of my neck. My whole body was awash with sensation; I didn’t know which to focus on first.

His grinding below began to grow more urgent, and suddenly the feel of the table under me, the sweet sting at my neck – none of it mattered. The only thing I could think about, could focus on, was his hard length as it slid in and out. His lips let my neck go. He lay me back down on the desk for the final leg of the marathon, and then he lifted my legs to his shoulders.

Ooh.
That felt deep.  It was like his length had suddenly doubled, piercing me all the way to my core, hitting twice as many nerves, firing off twice as much electricity. He moved faster, his hips creating sharp slaps where they met my upraised thighs, generating a heat in me that spread through my body.

My hand reached back to grasp the edge of the table, bracing myself, as his force started to slide my body across the hard grain. The heat was blooming, blossoming into something that would consume us both. My nipples felt so tight, so hard they must cut through the material over them. We started to breath in unison, building something beautiful inside us.

My back arched, my hips rose to meet him. I felt him suddenly swell, matching the wetness that was flooding me too. The warmth reached burning point.

And then the fireworks were exploding, making me cry out as I felt him release, our bodies entwined in fiery passion. My head lifted off the table, staring into eyes that mirrored my pleasure. The whole room seemed filled with light, so beautiful to see.
