“Are you okay
Carlana
?”

I looked around and found both Colin and Matt
staring at me, watching me.

“I’m good.”

I gave them my best
smile, but they looked unconvinced.

****

I noticed a change in
Carlana
as soon as we
arrived here.

She seemed okay when she
met Matt, and then something happened but I just didn’t know what.

She watched the dance floor, the bar, the
other people, but she avoided Matt and me.

Carlana
, are you sure you’re okay?”

I asked again.

“Yeah, I’m sure.”

She grabbed her
drink as soon as the waitress sat it down.

I kept watching her still trying to figure out what was wrong. Matt was
talking to me about something, but I couldn’t keep from watching her, studying
her.

Looking at Matt, he shrugged his
shoulders to indicate he didn’t have any idea.

Taking her hand, I pulled her up to a standing position.

“Let’s dance.”

I didn’t give her time to refuse as I led her
away to the dance floor.

Pulling her
body close to mine, we gently swayed with the beat of the music.

“What’s wrong sweetheart?”

I whispered in her ear.

Nothings
wrong.”

She didn’t want to tell him how jealous and
insecure she felt.

“Sweetheart, I’m certainly not an expert on relationships, but I know
that if this is going to work we have to be open and honest with each
other.

I don’t want a repeat of last
time, you know, when you thought I was engaged.”

Thinking about everything he told her, she took a deep breath and just
let it go.

“I’m out of place.”

She whispered.

“Everyone is dressed up but me and I’m in a
baggy tee shirt and jeans.

Plus, all the
women, girls, young women… whatever, are looking at you.

I’ve never had to deal with this before and
I’m jealous okay?”

She gripped the back
of my shirt.

“I don’t like feeling
jealous Colin.”

I couldn’t help the smile that spread across my face.

I didn’t like her feeling jealous, but I did
love the fact that she cared.

I knew she
told me she loved me and this shouldn’t make me happy, but it does.

At least for a minute and then I feel the
need to put her insecurities to rest.

Putting my lips to her ear, I whispered.

“Stop looking at the women sweetheart, and look at the men.

They were staring at you the moment you
walked in.

Do you know why?”

She shook her head.

“Because you’re gorgeous, and real.

Now look at the women.

What do you see?”

She looked around, but all she saw was young
beautiful women everywhere.

“You see
beautiful women?”

She nodded.

“Now look as I tell you what I see.

I see beautiful blonde women.”

I felt her stiffen.

“And if you look, almost all of them are
blonde and it comes from a bottle.

They
are all very skinny and have fake boobs.

They all have on very short tight dresses and everything about them is
fake, even the lips.

Why would you want
to look like everyone else?

Now, when
the men look at you they see long wavy auburn hair that looks so soft you just
want to run your fingers through it.

Your
makeup is natural looking and your tee and jeans just bring attention to the
fact that you’re real and you are confident enough to be yourself no matter the
situation.

Every man in here wants what
I have, not these fake women.

They’re
everywhere.

The women stare because they
want what you have, but they can’t have me.

I’m yours.”

My lips crashed down
on hers as I bent her backward and took her with a soul searing passionate kiss
showing everyone that she belonged to me.

Chapter 23

Heading
Back Home!

Staying here with Colin has been great ever since I got over my
jealously at the club.

He has showed me
every day that he belongs to me and wants no other.

This past week we’ve talked about his family
and the way they raised him, my family and even my life with Graysen.

Today we’re heading back to Virginia for
Austin’s graduation.

“Honey, I’m going to take a quick shower.

It won’t take me long.”

Colin said as he headed to the bathroom.

He had some last minute work projects to finish
and was running a little late.

“Take your time sweetheart.

There’s no rush.”

Smiling, I went
back to packing clothes.

I loved that
man, and he loved me.

I had to use my
nebulizer in front of him, he insisted, and then fussed at me for hiding it in
the first place.

He and Austin were
forming a relationship, one of respect.

Austin now had a man around if he needed to ask questions, which I was
grateful.

Hearing the doorbell, I hollered that I would get it but Colin was still
in the shower.

Opening the door, I found
an older pompous woman standing there with her chin so high in the air I could
see up her nose.

She barged in, “Who are
you?”

She said in her arrogant, whining
voice.

“Who are you?”

I said, not
intimidated in the least.

She looked me up and down, and then said, “I’m his mother.

His fiancée will not like Colin having his
whore here.”

I laughed a big belly laugh.

Poor
Colin, this was his mother.

Then I
remembered all the stories he told me about her and my face transformed to one
of anger.

“I heard about Maria, and
you.”

I jabbed my finger in her face as
I stepped in to her personal space.

“You
are a sorry excuse for a mother and should be ashamed of yourself!”

I stepped forward making her take a step back.

“You don’t deserve Colin!”

Another step forward, another step back.

“You stay the fuck away from him, from
us!”

Another step and she was standing
outside the door.

“You are NOT welcome
here anymore!”

I slammed the door in her
face and it felt surprisingly good.

“Thank you.”

I turned to find
Colin standing in the doorway with a towel tied around his hips.

He looked so sexy; I just wanted to rip his
towel off.

Stalking toward him, he
backed up until he was in the bedroom.

Pushing him down on the bed, I started undressing.

Rubbing my clit with my finger, I was
drenched and ready for him.

Undoing the
towel, I stroked his dick… once…twice, and then I slid my pussy down onto him
until he was completely inside me.

He
groaned and threw his head back as his hips arched, driving him deeper into
me.

“Oh God Lana!”

He moaned as I started riding him, swirling
my hips then lifting off, only to slam down on him again.

Finally, he just grabbed my hips as he drove
into me from the bottom at a demanding pace, holding me slightly above
him.

Ahh
, Oh
God!”

He said as he emptied into me and
I clenched his dick with my inner walls. “I love you Lana, Marry me?”

I leaned down and kissed him.

Looking into his loving eyes, all I could say was “yes.”

He pulled me tight, kissing the top of my
head.

Standing up a few minutes later, he went to the closet and pulled a box
from the top shelf.

Walking back to me,
he took my hand and slid the biggest oval diamond I had ever seen on my
finger.

Tears came to my eyes as I
looked at it.

“When did you buy
this?”

I asked, still staring at the
gorgeous ring.

“I bought it the day after I came home from visiting you.

I knew then I was falling in love.”

Finally looking up into his eyes, I sobbed, “I’m so sorry Colin.

I never meant to hurt you.”

I flung my arms around his neck.

“I know you didn’t.

Shh
, don’t cry.

It
was just as much my fault; I should have told you what was going on.”

He raked my hair from my face as he wiped my
tears away and kissed my forehead.

“Let’s have dinner tonight.

Let
all the paparazzi see the ring and we’ll tell Matt the good news.

What do you think? We can still head home
after dinner, we’ll just be later than we planned.”

“Sounds good.”

“Come on, I’ve got something to show you.

I meant to surprise you earlier but work and
then other things got in the way.”

He
smiled as he led me to the closet.

Opening it up, I squealed with delight when I spotted all the clothes
from the little boutique in Blowing Rock.

“It looks like you bought the whole store.”

I laughed.

“That must have been so expensive.”

Looking at him, “Thank you, but you shouldn’t have spent so much.”

“Sweetheart, these clothes are cheap compared the outfits the women wear
here.”

“I don’t care.

I love these
clothes.”

An hour later, we pulled into the parking lot at Davie’s.

Colin came around and opened the door for
me.

As we were walking to the front
door, one of the paparazzi called his name.

Taking my hand, he stopped me and we turned toward the camera.

“Who’s that Colin?

Where’s your fiancée?”

I stiffened with that, but Colin brought the
back of my hand to his mouth for a kiss.

“The other woman made up all those lies.

I’ve never dated her and I’ve certainly never asked for her hand in
marriage.

However, this beautiful lady
is
Carlana
Kiser and she is indeed my fiancée.”

They took pictures, lots of pictures as we
turned and walked inside.

Waiting for the hostess to seat us, she eyed Colin up and down.

He was mine now, and I wouldn’t stand for
this any longer.

“Um-Hum” The hostess
looked at me, losing her smile.

“Do you
mind not eye fucking my fiancée, or do I need to speak to the manager?”

She looked back to Colin who was smiling at
me.

He leaned down and gently kissed my
lips and from the corner of my eye I noticed the hostess turn a shade of red
before turning away, leading us to a table.

****

Carlana
putting the hostess in her place was
the hottest thing I’d ever witnessed.

I
loved it when she got all-possessive.

Matt was waiting at the table looking at a menu.

Sitting down, he looked up and smiled.

“He Colin, nice to see you again
Carlana
.”

“Hey man.

Glad you could meet
us.”

“No problem, what’s up?”

Matt knew
me well enough to know that if I was meeting him for dinner with my date, then
I had something to tell him.

“We just wanted you to be the first to know, we’re getting married!”

I smiled at
Carlana
and then looked back to Matt.

I saw the
sadness in his eyes, but his smile was genuine.

“That’s great!

I’m very happy for
you.”

“You’re going to be my best man right?”

Absofuckinlutely
!”

Laughing he said, “And I get to plan your
bachelor party.”

“This is great.

I can’t wait for you
to meet Megan, she’ll be my Maid of Honor.”

Carlana
said with excitement.

“Is she single and hot?”

Matt
asked and we all laughed.

“Actually, she is.

I’ll have to
introduce you to her.”

I saw a glimmer
of excitement flash in his eyes and for a moment I thought of how wonderful it
would be if Matt and
Carlana’s
friend ended up
hitting it off.

She would definitely
have to introduce them.
