Wesley’s smile was reassuring, but I shook my head. “I just…I don’t want anyone to make fun of me.”

“Then there’s nothing to worry about, ’cause I’ll beat them up,”

Wesley said, leaning back on his hands.

He was so carefree. It seemed that nothing in the world bothered him, that nothing could touch him. I was really attracted to this side of his personality, because I knew it was something I lacked. I felt more confident just being near him.

The bell rang and lunch was over. Wesley and I parted for fifth hour and then met again before history class. Mr. Hannity gave a short review for the exam the next day. Since our projects were considered the final, it would be our last test.

Wesley came over after school to study for History. He kissed me and then I sat down on the sofa and opened my textbook. Wesley groaned and fell back on the couch, pulling his book bag onto his lap.

We began to review the chapter and notes detailed in the outline Mr.

Hannity provided. After fifteen minutes, Wesley yawned and let his textbook slide off his lap.

“Man, I can’t do this now. I can’t concentrate. I need to kiss you for at least an hour before I can even begin to think about anything else.”

“An hour?” I asked with wide eyes.

“At least,” he said and inched closer to me. He put his hand behind my head and ruffled my hair.

“C’mon, we gotta study,” I urged, though I knew my voice was shaky.

“Nope. I need an hour.”

“Fifteen minutes,” I offered.

“Forty-five minutes.”

“Ten minutes.”

“Thirty minutes.”

“No minutes.”

Wesley sighed and tickled the nape of my neck with his fingertips.

“All right; ten minutes,” he conceded.

He leaned close and kissed me, taking the book from my lap and dropping it on the floor. His kiss curved around my chin to my neck and I clung to the sleeves of his shirt. I opened my eyes and glanced at the time on the VCR.

“Are you timing me?” Wesley asked. It was inadvertent; I wasn’t actually going to time him, but I was beginning to recognize his mischievous smile. “Okay, I bet I can make you cum twice in ten minutes. So clock me. Ready, set, go!”

He wasn’t joking; his kisses traveled across my stomach and chest, detouring at each nipple while his hands unbuckled my belt and unzipped my pants. It was like he was possessed or a man on a mission.

He took me in his mouth and sucked on me with a zealous fervor that made me cum very quickly. He paused long enough to kiss me but then dropped to my waist again, pulling me to the edge of the cushion. His fingers worked me over, then his soft mouth surrounded me and I bit my lip and pushed my head back. He gripped my rear end and I felt the back of his throat. I came hard in his mouth and he swallowed with a grin on Wes & Toren

his lips. He rocked back on his heels, leaving me spinning in a fog of delirious exhaustion, panting and gasping for air. Sweat dripped from my brow and my shirt clung to my chest, dampened by humidity and exertion. He sat back on his heels and smiled at me, a telltale smile, an “I told you so” smile. My heart was beating furiously and my hands trembled. I pulled up my boxers while Wesley got to his feet.

“I’ll be right back,” he said, stepping to the side.

“Um, but, what about you?”

“Hunh?”

“I mean, you always do, um, stuff for me,” I said, finding it hard to look into his eyes. “But, you never make me do anything for you. It makes me feel…kinda selfish.”

His smile was sincere, not a smirk or a grin, and he sat down beside me. His touch was so gentle and I was sure that I wanted to do this for him. He leaned back on the sofa and took my hands, laying them in his lap as he spread his legs apart. My fingers were shaking as I unbuckled his belt and pulled down the zipper. He stared at me with the same soft look.

“It might be easier if you were on your knees in front of me, rather than on my side.”

“Oh,” I whispered and climbed over his outstretched leg to the floor between his knees. He moved my hands to his sides and I hooked my fingers inside his blue jeans and boxers. A bulge was pushing out and my eyes widened as I imagined its actual size. Wesley smiled and lifted himself up slightly as I tugged on his pants.

He chuckled softly as my eyes widened when he was fully exposed. My cheeks turned bright red as I looked over it at the smirk on Wesley’s face.

“I…I don’t….” I stammered, blushing deeply.

“Just do what you think would make me feel good,” he said, patting my head before leaning down and kissing me. “Maybe you would feel better if I introduced you. Toren, I want you to meet….”

“Stop it! This is embarrassing enough,” I told him, furrowing my brows. He smiled and laughed.

“Just give him a kiss; he’s very friendly.”

I took him in my hands and the shaft seemed to swell instantly with my touch. I didn’t look up at Wesley again. I clenched my eyes shut and dropped my mouth around him. I tried to take him deep, but I nearly gagged as he touched the back of my throat and I covered my mouth and coughed.

“You don’t have to take it all in one gulp,” Wesley said. “Just do it slowly at first, get yourself comfortable,” he coached, patting my head again.

I followed his instructions and eased my mouth around him, holding onto the base with my fingers. I moved up and down gently, careful not to swallow too much of him.

“Use your tongue.”

I kept my eyes shut and pressed my tongue against him while I kept the rhythm of my bobbing head. I tried to remember what Wesley did for me and I began to stroke the base gently and let the tip of my tongue roam. Wesley gripped the cushion on either side and moaned my name.

The way he said it sounded so sweet and I instantly felt more confident, slurping, sucking, and licking. Wesley threw his head back and moaned louder, panting my name and stroking his fingers through my hair.

“Tor, that…that’s enough,” he gasped, but I remained in place, dutifully finishing what I started. “Toren! I said, that’s enough….”

He had done the same for me before and I wanted to return the favor. I looked up at him from the tops of my eyes and when he glanced down at me, he exploded like a volcano in my mouth. He sank back into the sofa and sighed between panting breaths.

“Damn.”

I was elated by his deadpan exclamation. He looked happy and sated and I was glad that I was finally able to show Wesley how much he meant to me.

“You want some water?” he asked, pulling up his boxers and jeans.

He was still a little stiff.

“What? No, I’ll get it….”

“Don’t worry about it,” he said, standing up and zipping his pants.

“I know where the glasses are. You just have a seat.”

I sat down on the edge of the sofa and wiped my mouth with the back of my hand. I smiled shyly. It really felt like I was in love.

Wesley returned with two glasses of water and handed one to me.

He sat on the edge of the couch right next to me and watched me take a gulp of water.

“So, does this mean you’ll let me be your boyfriend?”

I looked up at Wesley with round eyes. He wanted to be my boyfriend? The shy smile returned to my face and I nodded my head.

“Yeah, I guess so.”

“You’re cute when you smile,” he said, looking at me sideways.

My cheeks blushed and I couldn’t stop smiling. “C’mon, give your boyfriend a kiss, then.”

Wesley leaned into me and I accepted his lips like they were water in the desert. He really wanted to be with me. His kiss was indescribable; he was so good at it. Then I remembered that we had to study for History. Hesitantly and regrettably, I pulled away from him and picked up my textbook from the floor. Wesley made a face and sighed.

“Aw, you can’t really expect me to study now,” he complained, resting his arm around my shoulders.

I chuckled and urged him to focus. He picked up his book and we studied until Alycia came home. I made dinner again, even though it was Alycia’s turn, and the three of us watched TV and talked.

As nine o’clock neared, Wesley said that he should head home. He packed up his book bag and I walked him to the door. He looked at me with a familiar expression and I shook my head. Alycia was sitting on the couch.

“Go on, give him a kiss. I don’t care,” Alycia said, glancing over her shoulder at us.

I shot her a look, then felt Wesley’s hand behind my neck. He pulled me in and kissed me, without sparing tongue for the sake of Alycia. He grinned when he saw how red my cheeks were and I furrowed my brows at him.

“Hey, she said I could,” Wesley said with his palm open in the air, shrugging his shoulders. He said good night and left and I stared at the door.

Alycia was still watching when I turned around and she smiled largely, closing her eyes. “You guys are so cute together.”

WESLEY and I reviewed for the History exam while passing time before sixth hour. He sat on top of the desk next to me with his notebook in his lap. He seemed to have a pretty good handle on the material and I told him so.

“That’s ’cause I got such a good tutor,” he said, sliding off the desk and leaning over me. I could feel his breath on my neck and my cheeks flushed. “So what do I get if I ace this test?” he asked, his fingers crawling to the nape of my neck.

“D-don’t, Wesley,” I whispered, taking a deep breath.

“What’s the big deal? It’s not like we’re doing anything wrong.”

My ears felt hot and I glanced around the classroom. “It’s just…I don’t….” How could I explain it? He doesn’t know what it’s like to have people laugh at him or tease him. He didn’t understand that I would be ridiculed while he would escape direct mockery.

“You’re my boyfriend. Or did you forget that I had your dick in my mouth yesterday?”

“Wesley!” I whispered forcefully, gripping my hands into fists. His voice was low and throaty, sexy, and I squeezed my eyes shut. “I-I just don’t want anyone to know….”

“Sheesh. Maybe I should just go sit at my desk. I mean, I don’t wanna
embarrass
you or anything,” he said, straightening up and taking his notebook.

He was being unreasonable. “C’mon, Wesley,” I quietly urged. He looked down at me and the expression on his face was indiscernible. He actually seemed a little hurt.

Mr. Hannity walked in just before the bell rang and Wesley went to his seat without another word. I glanced over my shoulder at him while the exams were being passed out and he was whispering with the person next to him. He didn’t even look at me.

I couldn’t concentrate on the test. It took me the full hour to finish it. Wesley waited while I got my things together and he looked relieved.

He told me that the test wasn’t as hard as he expected it to be.

He drove me home and idled in front of my building. “I gotta do some stuff for my mom, so I gotta get going. But I’ll come by later. You wanna do something tonight?” he asked, his hand resting on the stick shift.

“Yeah, okay,” I answered, opening the door. He didn’t even try to stop me for a kiss. He smiled casually and waved. “See you later,” I said timidly and closed the door. He waited until I got to the stairwell and then drove off.

Wesley returned later, around nine o’clock. He was wearing different clothes from what he had worn to school and he smelled like he’d just stepped out of the shower. Alycia had left with Mike an hour before and Mom was still at work. The kiss he gave me was brief—and platonic. We left and went to Cue to play pool.

“Hey, Wes! Toren! Over here, guys!” Kate shouted when we walked into the smoky pool hall. She was wearing a pair of tight, hip-hugging jeans and a low-cut T-shirt. Lissa smiled and said hi. “Let’s pick up where we left off, okay?”

Wesley pulled a cue from the rack and Kate wound her arm around his waist. We played a couple games and Wesley catered to Kate’s flirtations. She asked for help lining up shots and Wesley would lean behind her, his hand on her hip, correcting her aim. He didn’t step away from her embraces either, and I felt a knot tightening in my stomach.

After the second game, Lissa began to rack up the balls again. “Are we up for another game?” she asked.

Wesley and Kate agreed but I shook my head. “I think I’m gonna get going. I’m pretty tired,” I said, putting a five-dollar bill down on the table. I said good night and began to walk toward the front.

“Toren, wait a sec,” Wesley called, but I pretended not to hear him.

Tears were welling in my eyes. “Toren, c’mon!” he shouted again. “I gotta go. I’m his ride. Here’s ten for the table,” he said and followed me.

I slowed my pace after I was outside. The sun had set and the sky was dark except for the waning light in the west. I could hear Wesley behind me.

“Toren! Wait up. What’s the matter?” he asked, closing in on me.

“Nothing. I’m just tired,” I said without turning around.

“Yeah, right. Now, come on, what’s wrong?”

“Nothing. I said I was fine. Why don’t you just go back inside? I’m sure Kate’s waiting for you.”
