Reaching behind her restroom door, she pulled down her silk robe. She threw it onto her bed before reaching down and pulling her dress up. With a few tugs and pulls, she finally got it all the way over her head. Tossing it into her bin, KinZu picked up her robe before pulling it over her shoulders. She felt relieved, slightly.
Pushing her feet into the furry slippers that sat at the foot of her bed, she ran to the mini wine cooler that was located in the corner of her enormous bedroom. Pulling out a bottle of Stella Rose Black, she ditched the thought of pouring it into a glass. KinZu grabbed the cork screw and popped the top. With a bit of lifting and a lot of twisting, she finally set her beverage free. KinZu turned it up, immediately, and took a long swig.
“Ummm…” she hummed after lowering the bottle.
She turned towards her door, and headed back down the stairs. If it wasn’t bedtime, then her living room was her space. Tonight would be a long night, so she headed to her favorite spot on the couch. Digging into the pocket on her robe, she pulled out her cellphone, and dialed up the very first number in her contacts –being that there were only five listed. The phone rung before the angelic voice picked up the other line.
“KinZu!” Reed screamed in her ear. “I miss you!”
