“Dane,” he whispered as Dane’s body opened up beneath him and he slid in as far as he could go. Dane’s inner walls twitched along his sensitive cock before he even began moving and he had to suck in a harsh breath to try and gain control of the need firing under his skin.

But Dane took the decision away from him and began pushing his hips up before lowering them slowly back down. Jax let all his weight press down onto Dane and began meeting each upward motion and within minutes he was pinning Dane’s hips with his hands so that he could hammer relentlessly into him over and over.

Jax leaned over Dane and kissed him and then in one swift move he pulled out of him and sat back, drawing Dane with him as he went and turning him so that his back was pressed to Jax’s front. He slid his cock back into Dane before he could even utter a protest. He wrapped his arms around Dane’s chest and felt fingers intertwine with his as Dane began meeting every upward lunge. Their slick skin lit up as the tension in their bodies increased and Jax forced himself to release one of Dane’s hands so he could slide it down to the other man’s cock. He began stroking Dane mercilessly as his hips punched into Dane over and over.

Dane reached around with one arm and dragged Jax’s mouth to his for a searing kiss. “I love you, Jax,” Dane whispered against his mouth. “Always.”

Jax felt tears prick his eyes as he kissed Dane back. “I love you so much, Dane.” He eased Dane forward until he was flat on his stomach, Jax’s hand pressed between them on the bed, his fingers still stroking Dane’s shaft. Jax humped into Dane relentlessly, his strokes becoming shorter and shorter as his cock began to pulse and throb in warning. He pressed his head down against the back of Dane’s neck as he felt his body draw tighter and tighter.

“It’s too much,” he whispered against Dane’s skin as the tension became nearly unbearable.

He felt Dane’s fingers twine around his on the bed. “It’ll never be too much, Jax.”

Jax slammed into Dane hard and hung there as his release claimed him. Dane cried out as Jax felt his semen bathe Dane’s rippling walls and then Dane’s cock pulsed in his hand and hot liquid pooled over his fingers. His body continued to convulse uncontrollably as Dane’s body throbbed around him, draining everything he had left. As his body began to relax and the pleasure seeped under his skin and along his nerve endings, Jax began to pull out of Dane but the other man reached behind him and grabbed his ass. “Not yet,” he said softly as he pressed Jax back into his body.

Jax let his weight sink down onto Dane and he kissed along his neck and shoulders until he reached Dane’s waiting lips. He kissed Dane languidly before finally forcing himself to pull out of Dane’s body. He shifted off of him long enough to let Dane roll over and then he was on top of him again, his tongue licking over every part of Dane’s pliant mouth. He laced their hands together next to Dane’s head and noticed Dane’s wedding band was gone. Another sign that Dane was truly his now.

It could have been minutes or hours before he finally released Dane and leaned back to study him.

“You stayed in Dare even after I hurt you,” Dane said quietly as he ran his fingers through Jax’s hair.

“I needed to make sure you were safe.”

“Did you know it was Belinda?” Dane asked.

Jax shook his head. “Cade didn’t only come out to Montana because he was worried about me. He came because our tech people discovered that someone did hack your phone so they could track your location. Something like that takes sophistication and money. I figured it wasn’t about you being gay but I didn’t make the connection to Isaac’s mother.”

“Were you watching me the whole time?”

Jax crossed his arms over Dane’s chest and laid his head on them, content to have Dane keep stroking his hair and brushing over his skin with gentle caresses. “Whenever you left the ranch,” he admitted.

“Did Rhys know?”

Jax nodded.

“Was Cade there too?”

“No, I sent him home. He was trying to figure out where the hack came from.”

Dane fell silent for a moment before saying, “I don’t want to come between you and your friend.”

“You won’t, Dane. Cade knows he messed up. He was trying to protect me.” He felt Dane tense beneath him and he suspected the cause. “There’s nothing between Cade and me. Never has been. He had no family when Ben and I met him so he just became a part of ours. He knew I was struggling with what was happening with us and he did what he always does – he tried to fix it.”

He was glad when Dane relaxed beneath him once again. “Truth is, he feels like shit for the things he said to you and I think you’re going to be able to milk this for years to come.”

Dane laughed but then sobered. “I know your job means a lot to you – and your friends. I could probably find a practice here in Seattle …”

Jax interrupted him with a kiss. “This place was never home for me. It was a placeholder until I found where I belonged. I want Emma to have the things you wanted for her when you chose Dare. That’s home now.”

“But your work…”

“Sheriff Granger offered me a job.”

“He did?” Dane asked in surprise.

“It was before…” Jax said, reluctant to bring up the day that had torn them apart. “He needs a couple of deputies. He asked Rhys too.” Dane went still beneath him and Jax knew he was thinking about the danger he would still face as a law enforcement officer, even in a small town like Dare.

“Would that be enough for you?” Dane asked.

“Anything that means I get to be with you and Emma is enough for me,” he said honestly. “I spent years watching humanity at its worst. If all I do for the rest of my life is give out tickets for jaywalking, I’ll be a happy man. As long as I can come home to you and Emma at the end of each day.”

He saw Dane’s eyes shimmer brightly and then he was being pushed onto his back. “I love you, Jaxon Reid.”

“I love you, Dane Winters” Jax said with a smile and reached up to run his fingers over Dane’s lips. “Let’s go get your daughter and go home.”

Dane studied him for a long, quiet moment before he kissed Jax softly and said, “Our daughter.”

Finding Home (Book 1, The Finding Series)

Vengeance
. It's the one thing on ex-cop Rhys Tellar's mind and he's spent every day of his two year prison sentence planning how he'll bring down the former lover and partner who sold him out and cost four people their lives. A six month parole stint working at the CB Bar Ranch in Southwestern Montana should be the easiest thing he's ever done. But the last thing he expects is to feel something for both the charismatic ranch hand who befriends him and the enigmatic foreman who's pretending to be something he's not.
A future
. That's what Finn Stewart wants, but to have it he must leave behind the man he wants above all others, his very straight boss and best friend, Callan Bale. As the only openly gay man in a small, homophobic community, Finn has to fight every day to be who he is and walking away is starting to seem like the easier path. Until Rhys Tellar shows up and changes everything.
A Lie
. Callan Bale's entire life has been about hiding the man he really is and it's about to cost him the one person who's managed to worm his way past the walls he's spent years putting up.
